Floral Design: Spiraled Bouquets

Taught by Carly Cylinder
Carly Cylinder is the owner and visionary behind Flour LA, a florist that provides nontraditional designs for weddings and events using eco-friendly flowers. She has written a revolutionary flower how-to book, The Flower Chef, which comes out on March 1 (available for pre-order now!), and is an advocate of the fair trade movement.
In this class, we'll design and create a spiraled bouquet from start to finish.
With Carly's help, you'll pick out flowers that work well together from a selection we've purchased in advance, including filler flowers and complimentary greens, then we'll learn the technique for creating a spiral bouquet. From rustic wildflowers to elegant roses, spiraling is one of the most important techniques in floral design, allowing your to create a very full and three-dimensional bouquet.
At the end of class, you'll take home your own spiraled bouquet in a vase you can use over and over again.
