Thursday, Sept 8 session in person, outdoors at the Brainery (190 Underhill Ave), 6-8pm
Whether you know it or not, you have a relationship with money. It’s not just about the numbers like how much you save, spend, or whether you pay off your credit card balance every month.
Early experiences, your parents, your grandparents, and your culture shaped your beliefs about money. Many of these beliefs are subconscious and you might not be aware of them or their influence on you. Yet they drive your emotions, feelings, and financial behavior.
In this class, you’ll learn about financial wellness in terms of your inner relationship with money. What does money mean to you? How does money make you feel both when you have it and when you don’t have it? What are your tripwires? What were the money messages in childhood or before you could speak, and how have they impacted your beliefs and behavior with money?
This class is for anyone who has guilt, regret, frustration, disappointment, and fear around money. (Isn’t that all of us?)
All levels are welcome; all experiences are valid.
This class will NOT offer information about budgeting, investing, or other external financial topics.
100% of the proceeds for this class will be donated to Cat Republic for feline medical care.
