Explore your connection to the world through the adventure and process of writing. Creative journaling is one tool we can use to connect to our “inner landscapes” -- the ecologies, ideas, and insights within us. Connect to nature and deepen your journaling practice through creative writing prompts, gentle movements, and inspiring breathing. Fill your pages in expressive ways as the city blooms into spring.

We’ll explore:
Week 1 Root - What grounds you? Connect to the Earth through writing, and find
steadiness with calming prompts and practices

Week 2 Flow - How can you write like water? Investigate fluidity in your writing practice

Week 3 Spark - What lights up your creative life? Generate ideas and discover points of
inspiration as you try out energizing prompts and connect to the fire of your journaling

Week 4 Breath - What can the wind teach us? Write, breathe, and move your ideas onto
the page and generate insight across the horizons of your creative practice

Each week includes time for Q&A, books and podcasts recommendations, playlists,
prompts for writing and drawing, and chances to connect in a creative community. Grow
into the season with these creative, meditative practices. You’ll walk away from each session with simple, practical, earth-inspired writing prompts breathing exercises, and seated stretches to feel connected, grounded, and inspired in the landscape of your life.

You’ll need:
● A notebook, sketchbook, or journal
● Pens, pencils

Note: Due to the personal nature of journaling, these classes won’t be recorded.
Prompts, practices, and links for class material will be emailed after.
