Stephanie Genkin is an independent fee-only CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and Certified Life Coach. Previously, she was a senior television news producer at CNN covering business, economics and personal finance. Her career explaining complicated money issues began when she landed a gig at CNNfn and she's been hooked ever since. Stephanie earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from NYU and is an adjunct instructor at NYU's School of Professional Studies, Department of Finance & Law. She is a member of the Financial Therapy Association and is frequently quoted in the media (Yahoo Finance, USA Today, Forbes, Glamour, MSN Money, AARP and others) on personal finance issues.
