Stephanie Genkin is an independent fee-only CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Certified Financial Therapist (CFT-I™), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), and Certified Life Coach. She completed advanced matrimonial mediation training and is currently focusing on the financial transition certification (CeFT®). Stephanie earned a graduate certificate in Financial Life Planning from Golden Gate University, where she is currently an adjunct instructor. Previously, she was a senior television news producer at CNN covering business, economics, and personal finance. Her career explaining complicated money issues began when she landed a gig at CNNfn and she's been hooked ever since. Stephanie earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from NYU and is an adjunct instructor at NYU's School of Professional Studies, Department of Finance & Law. She is a member of the Financial Therapy Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and is frequently quoted in the media (Yahoo! Finance, USA Today, Forbes, New York Magazine, Glamour, MSN Money, AARP, and others) on personal finance issues.

This class will focus on:
• Whether to merge your money
• How to deal with debt
• What to do when one's a saver and the other is a spender
• Ways to talk about money in a relationship
Whether you are already married, thinking about living together, dating or single, (and want to be prepared when that special someone walks into your life) this class will help you learn how to deal with delicate money matters without wreaking havoc on your love life.
