Cooking of the Himalayan Rim
Join us for feast fit for an abominable snowman as we discuss and describe cuisines of the three primary regions of the northern Himalayan rim and prepare representative dishes from each using (mostly) ingredients sourced at your better supermarkets.
The fully vegetarian menu will include a fiery classic Bhutanese cheese curry, Apple Paste Chutney and Millet Pancakes (gluten-free!!) from Sikkim and a quintessentially rich Kashmiri eggplant stew. Tingling tongues will be cooled throughout with a traditional Strawberry and Rosewater Lassi from the Vale of Kashmir.
