Card Magic

Marcin Pawlikiewicz has been doing magic since the age of 9. He learned magic by taping magicians of the T.V. at a young age and replaying their performances in slow motion. After that he started reading books and performed for random people at High School, College and then Busch Gardens two years in a row. He performs only for himself now and close friends and is excited to teach this mysterious art form with the help of his fellow, fearless magician friend Jack Joshi Powell.
In this class, we'll tackle the basics of card magic, and you'll walk out knowing two tricks to try on unexpecting strangers and friends.
We'll start with some background on card magic, then break into two groups to learn our first trick. Once you have it down, you'll get to practice it on a real live spectator that doesn't already know the secret, just like in real life. You'll learn the basics of misdirection, some simple sleights, and a new way to break the ice in just about any situation.
Most importantly, we won't use any gimmicks or trick decks. In fact, you'll be able to do these tricks with ANY deck of cards you find laying around. I think that's pretty magical, don't you?
