Botany on the Barstool: Bitterness

Taught by Lisa Nett
Lisa hails from the tree filled state of Wisconsin. She studied forestry at UW-Madison, and the art of firewood stacking on the family dairy farm. She rolls through the city streets on a trusty Schwinn while sneaking peeks at the passing trees. Check out Lisa's tree-focused Tumblr, The Tree Seen, or follow her on Twitter, @lisa_nett.
Life isn't always sweet and that sharp end, that little bit of biting bitter in a beer can be immensely satisfying.
Tonight we will explore bitterness in plants, specifically, plants that make your drinks more interesting. Hops, barks, herbs, oh my!
Class includes a complimentary pint of beer! Hooray!
This event meets at Greenpoint Beer & Ale, located at 7 North 15th Street in Brooklyn. Space is limited to 10 tickets and no spots will be available at the door!
