Kelly is the founder of Odette Press, a paper marbling and bookbinding studio focused on specialty papers, books, and stationery, created with the intention to support self discovery and healing through the act of writing.

Join Kelly Laughlin of Odette Press for an introduction into the satisfying process of bookbinding! Using traditional bookbinding tools and a simple pamphlet stitch, you'll make your own soft cover journals.
First, you'll learn about bookbinding tools, the basics of the bookbinding process, and connect to the nature of books. Then, you’ll be guided through the process of sewing two soft cover notebooks from cover to cover. Keep both books, or keep one and give one away!
This bookbinding workshop is a simple, fun, creative experience, and in this beginner-friendly setting, you'll get a feel for the art of sewing, the nature of paper, and the possibilities of making your own books.
