Sarah Lohman is a culinary historian and the author of the bestselling and critically acclaimed book Eight Flavors: The Untold Story of American Cuisine. She focuses on the history of American food as a way to access stories of women, immigrants, and people of color, and to address issues of racism, sexism, and xenophobia. This short class will get you familiar with the basic tools to tweak your food photographs. This class is for anyone looking to beautify their food photos, including creating stunning images for Instagram. We’ll correct color and lighting issues, touch up subtle schmutz, and create focus and depth of field. Suitable for Photoshop beginners. Students can download the Photoshop Elements trial before class and work along with the instructor; or, students are simply welcome to sit back and watch!
