Matt Baldassano

A self-proclaimed winomaniac, Matt Baldassano has been making wine for 10 years. Taught by his grandfather, Matt took a liking to the winemaking experience at a young age and turned that passion into a full-time hobby.  Now, as the founder of the Village Winery Club in Manhattan's East Village, Matt sources grapes from wine regions around the world and produces unique varietals in his urban winemaking club.

Matt turned his passion-come-hobby into a way for people to learn and connect and delivers a #grapetoglass experience to his club members through the events. Along the way, he managed to create a community - a community where people come to co-create, socialize, and, well, drink wine - wine they had a part in making.
