Leading an activity of any kind with children is a unique challenge.

As anyone who has ever attempted to give directions to a group of children or adolescents knows, before you can issue the first direction, you have to do something incredibly difficult: get their attention, and then, once you do that, you need to keep it.

Behavior management is a crucial part of reaching children, in any setting. This class is for anyone who works with children, whether you're a babysitter, a nanny, or a full time or after school teacher, you can benefit from some basic tips on managing the chaos that is kids. This class will go over a few high leverage tips for managing that chaos and will also include time for practice and feedback. Hone your skills, or pick up some new ones!
