In his more droll moments he is a tragic sellout to higher ed as a professor of data journalism at Columbia University's journalism school.

Forget the things that go bump in the night, these mythical beasts go CRASH and ROAR and make other very large sounds. Sure, Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster will make an appearance, but don't you want to know about the really mysterious cryptids?

We'll take a world tour to check out everything from hidden-from-sight modern-age dinosaurs and child-stealing birds, to giant sea beasts and Long Island's very own home-grown Monster!

This talk takes place at Threes Brewing (333 Douglass Street, Brooklyn), and each ticket includes a small beer from the selection on tap made by Threes Brewing, gratuity included. 

Doors will open at 6pm, with the talk beginning around 6:20pm. Be sure to grab your drink before then! 21+. Tickets will be available at the door, credit card payment only.
