This is an old class! Enjoy the notes, and check out the current courses.

Bánh mì's popularity has exploded in the past 5 years.

In this class we'll explore the sandwich and the origin of its ingredients.

You'll learn what makes a good baguette, what goes into a bánh mì đặc biệt (aka Special/The Works) and where to buy the ingredients. (As well as how to make it at home.)

Then we'll get hands on and learn how to make the traditional pickled slaw, assemble our sandwiches and learn how to make the perfect compliment to Bánh mì, cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese Iced Coffee)!

This class, like all the rest, meets at 515 Court Street, in Carroll Gardens BK.
