Taught by team!

Life isn't about sitting around in a cardigan knowing who your teacher is going to be. Life is a roller coaster on a highway to the dangerzone.

Recent Activity

This is an old class! Enjoy the notes, and check out the current courses.

We've got a new monthly thing going on - $7 Sundays (yes, they're actually $5, but "Five Dollar Sundays" doesn't have that alliteration!). Super cheap drop-in classes where you get to hang out with a ton of neat people while learning the very basics of something, inspired by our Kimchi Party. This time around it's seed sprouting!

Since spring really is just around the corner, and so is that itch to grow little tiny green things on our windowsills.

March's $7 Sunday party will be a crash course in seed germination. No need to wait until the weather warms - get your seeds started indoors so your vegetable garden can get a jump start on Spring!

Bring your own seeds or grab some of ours and we'll show you how to make them come alive before you stick them in the soil. We'll cover the factors that make seeds come out of dormancy and give you some tips for helping them stay alive once they sprout.

We'll also be doing a seed swap! Bring some of your favorite varieties of seeds to trade with every one else (especially those that can grow in containers) and double your sprouting fun.

This class is drop-in style - feel free to show up any time between 1 and 5 PM. You'll need to pre-register, though, because there are only a limited number of spots this time around!

This class, like alllll of the others, happens at 515 Court St in Brooklyn, at the corner of W 9th and Court.
