In this three-hour workshop you will learn how to bind books in the sprirt of the Dada movement of the early 20th century.

Students will get a brief overview of this art historical period, and then create a set of books that use Dada games and experiments. For example, we'll collaborate on an exquisite corpse book, one that involves an element of chance to create a nonsensical, but intriguing visual narrative. At the end of the evening, you'll leave with three different hand-made books, and some skills to take with you. Beginners welcome!
