Taught by Brady R

Brady is a Brooklyn-based freelancer of various trades: city contractor, film festival worker, belt-buckle maker, writer, reviewer, and event planner. As one of the co-founders of Metro Metro, he has spent over ten years planning scavenger hunts, running spy games, and coordinating board game olympics such as this one. To his knowledge, he hasn't won any awards, though he has received a handful of citations (for legal reasons).

You only need to purchase one "ticket" per two-person team. It's $30/team for the night.

Since ancient times, board games have been the only way to determine legitimate superiority. In fact, some claim that the "Divine Right of Kings" was simply the name of an early version of Scrabble, and that the Ñina, Pinta, and Santa Maria were named for Columbus's Tuesday pub-night Trivial Pursuit teammates.

None of that may be true (or is true, in truth), but don't let that stop you from proving your own dominance at the Board Game Olympics.

24 teams (of two players each) will compete in sped-up versions of Trivial Pursuit, Taboo, and Scattergories. The top teams will then compete in a cutthroat sudden death version of Jenga, just like how the Battle of Waterloo was actually decided.

That's right, just you and friend taking on the world, one pie wedge at a time. This is how heroes are made.

How It Works
Registered teams will receive more specific info but here are the basics:

You only need to purchase one "ticket" per two-person team. It's $30/team for the night. Just enter your name and email for now, and we'll reach out for your team and partner's name later on.

We accept 24 teams, who are separated into three Groups. Each Group plays half-hour rounds of Trivial Pursuit, Taboo, and Scattergories, amassing points along the way. The top team in each Group then advances to compete in Jenga for final, utter, glorious victory. Prizes all around.
