In Person: Become an Ace Leaf Peeper
Taught by Lisa Nett
Lisa hails from the tree filled state of Wisconsin. She studied forestry at UW-Madison, and the art of firewood stacking on the family dairy farm. She rolls through the city streets on a trusty Schwinn while sneaking peeks at the passing trees. Check out Lisa's tree-focused Tumblr, The Tree Seen, or follow her on Twitter, @lisa_nett.

Welcome the return of crisp Autumn days with a walk in the park and learn to identify trees by the details: bark, buds, leaves and tree form. Get those sweaters on and come outside for an introduction to some stunning trees in fine fall colors.
The leaves are beginning to change so get out there now and expand your tree and leaf appreciation as more color emerges!
This walk will meet in Prospect Park, and exact meeting instructions will be sent the day before the walk. The walk meets rain or shine.
