*This class will be hosted virtually via Zoom. Please take a few minutes to download the Zoom desktop/mobile app ahead of time at zoom.us. The meeting link will be sent the day before class.*

This class will give you an overview of the court systems in the United States, including what kinds of cases go to what kinds of courts, and how a case can end up at the United States Supreme Court.

We’ll also look at when and how a person or group of people can use the courts to challenge a law or practice that they believe to be unlawful. The goal of this class is to make it easier to follow press coverage of court cases, and to gain a better understanding of the role of courts in preserving rights. No LSAT required!

*this class is for informational purposes only and will not include any individual legal advice*
