Mystery, misconception and fear about the stock market leave many would-be investors on the sidelines.  Putting your hard-earned income or inheritance in a savings account may feel "safe" but leaving it all in cash could undermine your ability to reach some of your biggest financial goals in life, like buying a home, paying for your child's college education, achieving financial independence and retiring in comfort.

This class will help you understand:

  • the purpose and benefits of investing
  • the difference between stocks and bonds
  • understanding how risk is managed through asset allocation
  • why being a "lazy" investor is good
  • how to survive tough markets

This jargon-free class is appropriate for beginners as well as those with some investing experience
