In this workshop, we'll explore a range of conventional and non-conventional mark-making methods.

Students will learn the art of stenciling, masking, photo-transferring, and wet and dry medias, learning how to integrate different visual languages of drawing through collaborative and self-directed exercises. Students will get a chance to work with large-scale paper, giving them room to explore marks at a range of scales. Elements of chance and intuition will also play a critical role in this expressive investigation.

At the end of each exercise, students will re-group to have a conversation about the resulting work. Beginners very welcome!
