This class might be over, but get first dibs on new sessions and brand-new classes by signing up on our ultra-rad mailing list.

During this special four-session course, each student will have the opportunity to submit a 5,000-word-or-less short story or novel excerpt (provided excerpt stands alone) to be workshopped. Whether your manuscript is nearly finished or still a work-in-progress, conversation will center around locating the story’s heart, identifying strengths and potential pitfalls, and formulating a plan for revision that carries your draft across the finish line.

In addition to feedback from your peers, your manuscript will receive a written critique from the instructor. While class time will be primarily focused on student work, the course may also include generative writing prompts and the assignment of published stories or craft essays as a complement to the discussion of students’ work.

Prior workshop experience a plus; however, all writers are welcome. Enrollment will be capped at eight students.
