We're looking for someone to help out around the Brainery at our new Park Slope space. It's part-time (approx 15-20 hours a week, $15/hour), entirely at the Brainery, and involves all kinds of super glamorous and not-so-glamorous things.
- Being in charge of our Park Slope location (1110 8th Ave) during classes at least FOUR days per week (Mon-Thurs evenings and at least one of Sat/Sun daytime). There's some flexibility on which days you choose, but we're looking for someone to cover at least four days per week, with more available if desired. Saturday and Sunday are daytime (anywhere between 3-7 hours, exact timing varies a bit week to week, generally 10-5ish but sometimes just the morning or just the afternoon). Mon-Thurs evenings are generally from 5:30-9ish (sometimes 10pm)
- Keeping the space clean and organized - set up, material prep, and cleaning. You'll need to be able to move tables, sweep, mop, move storefront gates up and down and the like.
- Being very detail oriented and on time!
- Check in and greet students and generally just be helpful with whatever is needed during class! Sometimes you'll be more of a TA during class, and sometimes you can chill and do computer work and read.
