Taught by Carrie King

Carrie is a trained chef, writer and teacher. She loves to demonstrate that the path to being a better cook is paved with local and seasonal ingredients, good times and good intentions. Real food is simple food and everyone can make it - no matter how small your oven or kitchen is! When not cooking or writing about it, Carrie can be found poking around markets looking for the components of her next meal.

This class meets at our Court Street location

It's hard to beat a big bowl of pasta - especially when it's a big bowl of fresh pasta. But, before you get pasta envy, know that you can make fresh pasta at home, even if you don't have a pasta machine. That's right - even without a pasta machine!

Be prepared to get your hands a little messy - there will be flour, lots of flour. And make sure you eat your Wheaties because there will also be rolling, lots of rolling and you'll need to put some muscle into it.

We'll make homemade ravioli using only our hands, rolling pins and knives. And, we'll even make a quick sauce so that we can nibble when the hard work is done. Ravioli filling will be veggie based and so will the sauce, so eaters of all kinds are welcome!
