Hadasah Ingrid is a Creative Writing Teacher, Performing Arts Instructor, Journalist, and Actress. She currently lives in Brooklyn where she currently writes for Harlem World Magazine and pursues acting. She has worked with various non-profit orgainizations and New York School to teach creative writing over the past 10 years. She has written for a number print and online publications throughout various genres. She loves teaching and performing plus taking a bite out of life.

Whether you are an enthusiast, hobbyist, or a Spoken Wordsmith, this two day intensive will explore the ideas, principles, and techniques to help you write influential poems with a lasting effect. You will learn how to identify and analyze some of the great poems of our time, create your own great works, and creatively present them in a way that leaves an impact on your audience!

During the first class, we'll showcase some of our previously written poems, review notable poems from around the world, and practice exercises to help you create new personal works   

During the second session, we'll examine the traditional rules of poetry and how you might experiment use them, or choose to discard them, in your own works. We'll also look at the ways poetry differs from other genres and learn how to present our works in new and impactful ways. 

You only need three things: your own best previously written poem, a notebook and a pen, and an open mind and heart!  If you love poetry and have a desire to create on a new level, this class is for you!
