Julian Velasco is a bonsai professional and former curator of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's C.V. Starr Bonsai Museum’s world famous collection of 300+ bonsai for over 10 years. Julian has designed, developed and maintained some of the best bonsai in the US. Along with solo bonsai art shows, his bonsai art has been commissioned for film, museums, designers, architects, and of course private bonsai collectors.

Miniature Bonsai Landscapes - despite their diminutive stature - are as grand as nature itself and a wonderful example of naturalistic bonsai style

In this hands-on class, you'll learn the process to create for yourself a mini bonsai landscape, from design philosophy, construction, and horticulture development.  Take home the wonders of nature in the palm of your hands.

Bonsai tools and supplies will be available for use during the class and the class fee Includes bonsai, bonsai pot, small rocks, & soil.
